AMANDA OCHOA

Founder & President

Picture
"After years of supporting women from behind the styling chair, I saw firsthand how much midlife women carry and how rarely the world stops to acknowledge it. The health scares, the financial pressure, the caregiving, and the loss. These women are incredible, and they have so much to say, but too often society makes them feel invisible. Her.Ed is my way of stepping forward and saying: not on my watch. Midlife women deserve to be seen, heard, and resourced." - Amanda Ochoa, Founder & President

Her passion for Her.Ed’s mission is rooted in recognizing how many women quietly carry the weight of caregiving responsibilities, financial pressures, career demands, relationship transitions, and personal growth - often while continuing to show up for everyone around them. She is deeply committed to facilitating support that feels both practical and empowering, helping women preserve stability while creating space to move forward into what comes next.

Chief Operating Officer

Lauren is passionate about building meaningful relationships and creating structure for women to feel genuinely supported during life’s most pressured seasons. Through Her.Ed, she helps cultivate partnerships, community connections, and support networks that make timely and thoughtful assistance possible for women navigating significant life transitions. Her work is grounded in compassion, encouragement, and the belief that feeling seen and supported can make a meaningful difference in someone’s ability to move forward.

She is especially drawn to the quiet, unseen challenges women carry while balancing caregiving responsibilities, career changes, financial pressures, relationship transitions, and personal growth. Lauren cares deeply about helping women feel less alone in those moments and creating opportunities for connection, encouragement, and support that strengthen not only women, but the families and communities around them.

Why We Started Her.Ed

A support bridge for women carrying more than most people see.

Her.Ed was created from the belief that many women navigate significant life transitions while quietly carrying enormous responsibility for the people around them.

Whether balancing caregiving, career pressures, financial strain, relationship changes, health challenges, or personal growth, women are often expected to keep showing up without pause — even during seasons that ask more of them than they can easily give.

We created Her.Ed to be a support bridge during those moments, providing community, advocacy, and timely financial support that helps women preserve stability, feel seen, and continue moving forward.

What Guides Us

Support that feels practical, personal, and possible.

Women deserve to be seen.

Many of life’s most difficult seasons happen quietly. We believe women deserve support before temporary instability reshapes their future.

Timely support matters.

Meaningful support does not have to change everything to change the next step. Sometimes the bridge is what helps someone keep moving.

Stability creates ripple effects.

When women are supported, families, workplaces, and communities become stronger too.
