Many women don’t ask for help, but that doesn’t mean they don’t need it. You don’t need the perfect words. Just share her story.

Year-Round Support

Nominations Are Accepted Year-Round

Life transitions do not happen on a schedule, and support shouldn’t either. Her.Ed accepts nominations throughout the year for midlife women, age 30–65, navigating significant life transitions and periods of significant strain.

Eligibility

Primary Nomination Criteria

• Between the ages of 30–65
• Identify as a woman
• Experiencing a significant life transition or hardship

Our Approach

A Support Bridge

Her.Ed is not a crisis-response organization. We are a support bridge. Our goal is to provide meaningful, timely support that helps women regain stability, preserve momentum, and move forward with greater confidence and agency.

What We Look For

Support for significant life transitions.

Her.Ed supports midlife women navigating significant transitions such as:

Caregiving responsibilities

Divorce or relationship transition

Housing instability

Health-related disruption

Unexpected financial strain

Career or workforce transition

Loss of support systems

Other pivotal life changes

We recognize that every situation is different. Her.Ed seeks to provide thoughtful, dignity-centered support tailored to each woman’s circumstances.

Process

How the Process Works

Submit a Nomination

Nominations may be submitted by the woman herself or by someone who believes she could benefit from support.

Review & Follow-Up

Her.Ed carefully reviews each nomination and may reach out for additional information or conversation.

Support Consideration

Select nominees may be considered for financial support, referrals, resources, encouragement, or additional connection.

Timing

Support Timing

Some situations require more immediate stabilization support, while others involve longer-term transition and rebuilding.

Her.Ed reviews nominations throughout the year and works to provide support in a thoughtful and timely way while balancing available funding and operational capacity.
